<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical recorder optimal for high speed writing of color image by transmitting light efficiently thereby increasing the quantity of exposing light. SOLUTION: Light emitted from a light source is decomposed into three primary color components by turning a color wheel and transmitted, as a linear light, through an optical fiber array 10, an integrator 15 and an optical element array 20 for illumination to impinge on an optical valve array 25 and to expose a print sheet with a modulated light through a focusing optical element array. The integrator 15 comprises two mirrors 16 arranged in parallel while clamping a rod lens 17. The rod lens 17 has a retracting power for limiting the spreading angle of output light from the optical fiber array 10.</p> |
