PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform effective contrast medium imaging by using a microballoon contrast medium, to performing contrast imaging by utilizing air bubbles generated after microballoons are destroyed and to efficiently destroy the microballoons. SOLUTION: Leakage of spectrum from a basic wave to a high harmonics region is simulated 122 to perform subtraction 124 from a high harmonics echo. Microballoon is destroyed with a transmission ultrasonic wave and imaging is performed by waiting for settlement of emitted air bubbles. An ultrasonic wave whose initial half cycle is negative pressure is transmitted to destroy the microballoons.
