PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily move a guide wire forward in target direction at a branch point or the like when the guide wire is inserted to a blood vessel by providing a symbol at one part of the guide wire at least to discriminate the bending direction of a top end in hand. SOLUTION: In the guide wire for medical treatment having the bent top end, the symbol is provided at one part of the guide wire at least so as to discriminate the bending direction of the top end in hand. The figure shows the example of printing on a main body 2 of guide wire with an insertion depth mark 2 as the symbol and in this example, the insertion depth mark 2 is printed on a surface opposed to the side where the top end of a J-shaped guide wire is bent. When the guide wire is inserted from the inserting position of a blood vessel model and moved forward to the target position on the opposite side while passed through a Y-shaped branch point, the bending direction of the top end of the guide wire can easily be identified by the mark 2 in hand so that the guide wire can smoothly be to the target position. |
