PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely perform the treatment of an instrument for medical treatment after surgical operation by contacting the used instrument with any one of hot water, disinfectant medical solution and disinfectant containing hot water while wrapping it in a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol unwoven object, sterilizing and dissolving the unwoven object, disinfecting and sterilizing the instant for medical treatment. SOLUTION: Concerning the treatment of instrument for medical treatment, the used instrument for medical treatment is contacted with any one of hot water, disinfectant solution and disinfectant containing hot water while being wrapped in the water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol unwoven object, the unwoven object is sterilized and dissolved, and the instant for medical treatment is disinfected and sterilized. Then, this used instrument for medical treatment is put in a processor and treated. It is contacted with any one of hot water, disinfectant containing water and disinfectant containing hot water but the more elevated the temperature of treatment is, the more the sterilizing effect can be expected. The instrument is treated in the hot water or disinfectant containing hot water higher than 50 deg.C, preferably, higher than 70 deg.C. Because of such treatment, the unwoven object is dissolved simultaneously with sterilization and the instrument can be disinfected, sterilized and recycled. |
