<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly deliver and convey a paper sheet by bringing the large- interval side of a push-up plate into contact with the paper sheet to excite the paper sheet upward without limiting its upward excitation even if the small- interval side of the push-up plate excites the paper sheet upward earlier than the other side when the interval between the upward exciting portion of the push-up plate and a paper feeding member at the upper section of a cassette main body differs on the right and left, and exciting the right and left side of the paper sheet to the paper feeding member with the exciting force of the same magnitude. SOLUTION: This paper feeding cassette is provided with a push-up plate 2 and multiple exciting members 3 exciting the push-up plate 2 upward, and the uppermost paper sheet P of stacked paper sheets P is kept in pressure contact with a delivery roller 7 at the upper section of a cassette main body 1. A part of the push-up plate 2 is notched to form a slit 11 in the paper sheet conveying direction of the push-up plate 2, and the slit 11 is extended from the end section of the push-up plate 2 to at least the exciting portion of the push-up plate 2 to be located between the exciting members 3.</p> |
