<p>A protective eyewear includes a lens frame (2, 3a) and a transparent lens unit mounted on the lens frame (2, 3a). The lens unit includes at least one liquid crystal cell (40). A control circuit (5) is mounted on the lens frame (2, 3a) and is connected electrically to the liquid crystal cell (40).
