PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a high fluidity polypropylene without modifying a conventional facility. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a high fluidity polypropylene compsn., propylene is polymerized adding a molecular weight controlling agent, in the presence of a magnesium carrier catalyst comprising a solid catalyst component (A) comprising magnesium, titanium, halogen, and an ester as essential components, an org. aluminum compd. (B), and an org. silicon compd. having a Si-O-C bond (C), and the polymn. is continued, after melt flow rate (MFR, 230 deg.C, 2,160 g) becomes essentially constant, for the timeΔt to meet the condition of MFR12 /MFR11 >=1.5 andΔt=t2 -t1 (wherein MFR11 is MFR at polymn. time t1 and MFR12 is MFR at polymn. time t2 ).
