PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type IC card having gradation information and character information of a high picture quality on the surface by a method wherein a gradation image is recorded by a heat-sensitive transfer recording method, and a character image is recorded by a method other than the heat-sensitive transfer. SOLUTION: A first sheet material 1 wherein an image receiving layer 2a for ink jet and an image receiving layer 2b for sublimation heat-transfer are provided on one surface side of a film supporting body 11, and an adhesive layer is provided on the other surface side, before being heated, and a second sheet material 4 wherein a writing layer 5 is provided on one surface side of a film supporting body 12, and an adhesive layer is provided on the other surface side, are prepared. Then, both sheet materials 1, 4 are superposed with each other, heated and bonded in such a manner that the adhesive layers are confronted with each other under a state wherein an IC part is inserted between them, and thus, an IC card CA is manufactured. Then, when a gradation image is formed on the IC card by re-transfer, the gradation image is recorded by a heat-sensitive transfer recording method, and a character image is recorded by a method other than the heat-sensitive transfer, e.g. an electrophotographing method or an ink jet method. |
