PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with both fixed window glass and elevating window glass with an inner panel and an outer panel of the same structure by laying an outer reinforcing plate between the inside of an upper edge part of an inner reinforcing plate of the inner panel and the inside of a flange of the outer panel to cope with the fixed window glass. SOLUTION: In window frame lower edge structure, an inner panel 1 and an outer panel 2 are formed into the same structure as structure corresponding to elevating window glass. In the case of fixed window glass, an inner reinforcing plate 6A is laid between the inside of an upper edge flange 3A of the inner panel 1 and the inside of the inner panel 1 below, and an outer reinforcing plate 7A is laid between the inside of a protruding part of the inner reinforcing plate 6A protruded from the upper edge of the inner panel 1, and an upper edge flange 3B of the outer panel 2 to cope with the fixed window glass. With this constitution, the structure corresponding to the elevating window glass can be applied without change, so that the inner panel 1 and outer panel 2 of the same structure can be applied to both the fixed window glass and elevating window glass. |
