PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band type material delivery device and a delivery method capable of improving stopping precision. SOLUTION: A sensor 17 to detect a mark (non-coated part) provided in correspondence with a position to stop at a foil material 11, a rotational detector 16 to output a value in accordance with travelling quantity by synchronously rotating with travelling of the foil material 11 and a means (control part) to stop delivery of the foil material by a roller when a value of a difference comes to be within a specified range by resetting a count value of the rotational detector 16 in a moment when the sensor 17 detects the mark and computing a difference with a current count value counted by the rotational detector 16 as the foil material 11 travels after resetting it from the target stop count number previously decided from resetting to a position to position and stop and to stop delivery of the foil material by a roller when a value of the difference comes to be in a specified range are provided. |
