PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material having a good ion conductivity and a high ion transport number by forming a gel comprising an alkali siloxyaluminate polymer, a gel-forming material and an organic solvent. SOLUTION: An alkali siloxyaluminate polymer having a structure of the formula (wherein M is an alkali metal), a gel-forming material and an organic solvent selected from propylene carbonate, tetrahydrofuran, methyl acetate and the like are mixed, stirred, heated to form a gel body and, if necessary, cut and processed to obtain a conductive material. The alkali siloxyaluminate polymer includes lithium siloxyaluminate polymers and sodium siloxyaluminate polymers and those with terminal groups protected with phenyl or alkyl groups are chemically stable. The gel-forming material includes polyacrylonitrile-methyl acrylate copolymers, polymethyl acrylate, polyvinyl pyridine and the like. |
