PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire with fixed abrasive grain for an endless wire saw, capable of preventing the wear of a guide roller and perform highly precise cutting. SOLUTION: A wire W2 with fixed abrasive grain is formed in a sectionally almost fan shape with an inversed taper face T formed at both sides to be fitted to a groove 24a in a grooved roller 24A, abrasive grain G being fixed only on its circular face C. In this way, the oscillation of the wire W2 with abrasive grain is prevented and the wear of the groove in the grooved roller is restricted. The wire W2 with the fixed abrasive grain may have an inversed taper face at both sides to be fitted to the groove 24a in the grooved roller 24A. |
