PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial lung with a built-in heat exchanger reducing a blood charging amount as a whole and reducing a pressure loss by making a heat exchanger part housed inside an artificial lung part in the state of housing within a housing. SOLUTION: This artificial lung with a built-in heat exchanger is provided with a cylindrical heat exchanger part 10, a cylindrical hollow fiber membrane bunch 2 consisting of many hollow fiber membranes for exchanging gas directly wound onto this part 10, and a housing housing the bunch 2 and the part 10. In the state or opening both tips of the hollow fiber membranes, both tips of the bunch 2 are fixed to the housing 3 and the part 10 by two bulkheads 5 and 6. The inside of the housing 3 is divided into a blood room 7 formed by the outer surface of the hollow fiber membranes, the outer side surface 10a of the part 10 and interval between the two bulkheads 5 and 6, and a heat medium room 16 communicated with the inside of the part 10. |
