PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet having a good ink absorbability, printability and image quality and an excellent water resistance and moisture resistance. SOLUTION: In the recording sheet comprising an ink receptive layer provided at least on one side surface of a base material, the layer has a layer containing a polyvinyl alcohol and a cationic polymer resin. The polyvinyl alcohol has a degree of saponification of 25 to 60 mol.%. And, the polymer resin has a -COOH group. The receptive layer may contain the polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of saponification of 25 to 60 mol.%, a polyvinylpyrrolidone and the polymer resin. |
