PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording medium having a high color developing sensitivity, excellent light resistances of an image and a skin and a good recording runnability. SOLUTION: The thermal recording medium utilizing a color developing reaction of an electron donative compound with an electron acceptive compound comprises a bisbenzophenone represented by a formula as an ultraviolet absorber [wherein W is any of -NH- and -O-, Y is any of a hydrogen atom and a hydroxyl group, Z is any of a hydrogen atom, 1-6C alkyl group and alkoxy group]. |
