<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fluctuation in the emission characteristics among a plurality of interconnecting LED elements in the main scanning direction of an image forming system comprising an exposing means employing a single chip light emitting element array integrating a plurality of light emitting elements, and a plurality of developing means arranged around a photosensitive body. SOLUTION: An exposing means is loaded with light emitting element arrays 200a-200d connected through wiring parts 201a-201d having high density lead wires with signal drive circuits 202a-202d which control the light emitting element arrays 200a-200d to emit or not emit light. Light emitting operation of the light emitting element arrays 200a-200d is controlled depending on the image signal from signal generation circuits 204a-204d. The light emitting element arrays 200a-200d are arranged in one row with high resolution wherein the counter electrode is use as a common electrode and the timing of respective drive operation is controlled by a common drive circuit 203a-203d. The common drive operation and the image signal are controlled by the image information processor in a CPU.</p> |
