PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a resin or the like having the low glass transition temperature as a binder and to realize high-sensitivity recording by incorporating basic material into a color material layer formed of a binder, which is dissolved into organic solvent or both of the color material layer and a heat resisting active layer. CONSTITUTION:A color material layer 2 is provided on the upper surface of a base material 1 in a heat transfer sheet. A heat resisting lubricating layer 3 is also provided at the lower surface. Thus, the main part is constituted. In the meantime, the color material layer 2 is constituted of a binder, which is dissolved in an organic solvent, a basic material 4 and electron-donating dye. At thist time, for the electron-donating dye, indoaniline-based dye is used. The melting point of the basic material 4 is set at the value higher than the peak temperature of a recording head at the time of recording. For the basic material 4, the superfine particles of calcium carbonate are used. Meanwhile, the heat resisting active layer 3 can be constituted of at least a binding agent, a lubricant, fine particles 5 and the basic material. Thus, the preserving reliability under the high temperature and high humidity is improved. |
