PURPOSE:To obtain the subject sheetlike material hardly slidable and diffusible of air without stuffiness by scattering cork granules on the surface of sheetlike base having cushioning property to make uneven parts, subjecting to hot press to thrust said granules into the base material and joining to one body. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive 5 (e.g. polyurethane-based resin) is applied on the surface of a sheetlike base material 4 having cushioning property such as a thick board-like nonwoven cloth or a thick paper, etc., and cork granules 1 having large and small diameters are scattered on the adhesive (initially large granules and then small granules) to make uneven parts 14. The adhesive is sprayed above the scattered cork granules, they the system is subjected to hot press and lower parts of the cork granules are thrust into and joined to one body to afford the objected cork sheetlike material 12 having enriched elasticity and softness with excellent air-diffusibility and heat insulating property. Said sheetlike material is suitable for platform mat 13, etc. |
