PURPOSE:To manufacture easily a trim material which can protect the inner fringe of a long hole and improve a beautiful sight of the inside of a car without providing a garnish of an another matter, by a method wherein simultaneously with molding of the trim material comprised of a base and the skin piled upon the base into a fixed form by stamping molding the skin confronted with a long hole is slit, an end of the skin is rolled in the inner fringe of the long hole of the base and covered with the skin for protection. CONSTITUTION:Stamping molding of a center pillar trim 21 is performed by a recessed part and protrusion. When a thin part 33 is cut off, a long hole 34 is formed in the central part of a base 22 and the long hole 34 is in a state where it is closed with the skin 23. Furthermore, the central part of the skin 23 closing the long hole 34 is slit 35 along a longitudinal direction of the long hole 34, an end of the skin is rolled into the inside of the base 22 so that the end covers the inner fringe of the long hole 34 and the end of the skin 23 is stuck to the base 22 by an adhesive agent. |
