PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head of an optical recording device capable of making it thin. SOLUTION: An optical path converting means (the first surface of a first transparent base 9) 14, a first grating element 5 and a second grating element 6 are arranged in the optical path from a light source 1 to an optical disk 11. A transmitted light beam from the light source 1 is made incident on the optical path converting means 14 through a collimator lens 3, totally reflected and made incident on the first grating element 5. A diffracted light beam is made incident on the second grating element 6 and converged on a recording medium by an objective lens. A diffracted light beam from the first grating element 5 and a diffracted light beam from the second grating element 6 are made to be generated in the direction mutually canceling the fluctuation of wavelengths. |
