<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source device for seismic exploration easy to handle and not time-consuming at the time of putting it into water and drawing it back, and usable in waters having ice floes or thick plants. SOLUTION: This sound source device 1 includes a plurality of flexible- structure modules 7 forming a long flexible structure 5 having a substantially uniform external sectional shape and size by joining them end to end together, the structure can be stored on winding unit 3, unwound from the winding unit 3 at an exploration place, rewound onto the winding unit 3 without disconnecting these modules 7 from each other, and at least one of these flexible modules 7 includes a device for generating an acoustic impulse wave.</p> |
