<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate measuring and to properly determine a right processing joint by setting the shape of one of a plurality of processing joints parallel with the traveling direction of a magnetic tape provided in a fixed drum to be discriminated from the other processing joints and using the same for measuring. SOLUTION: In order to reduce the traveling resistance of a magnetic tape 14, a plurality of processing joints 22 are provided in the surface of an upper fixed drum 30 brought into direct contact with the magnetic tape 14 so as to be coincident with the feeding direction of the magnetic tape 14. At this time, in a part not brought into contact with the magnetic tape 14, an inspection joint 32 is formed to be deep by a machining byte so as to be easily discriminated from the other joints 22. Thus, for measuring, one lead shape is easily grasped and determination is easily made as to the proper setting of the length, angle and position of the straight line part of the processing joints 22. Further, since the inspection joint 32 is formed in a range not brought into contact with the magnetic tape 14, tape damaging is prevented.</p> |
