PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior read aloud device by reading aloud in voice in a more easily understandable way than more monotonous reading of a memory dial number in a portable terminal and selecting easily the memory dial information. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a means 8 that instructs the reading of memory dial information stored in a storage device of a portable terminal or the like, a means 3 that reads the memory dial information from the storage device of the portable terminal or the like, a means 3 that extracts required information from the memory dial information and voice synthesis means 4, 5 that read aloud in voice a dial number, based on the extracted required number. Thus, the memory dial contents of the portable terminal are selected by an easily understandable voice reading to obtain a superior memory dial read aloud device.
