The filter belt (1), for a filtering or drying apparatus (2) to separate solids and liquids, is fitted with a drive and/or guide structure. The drive structure is at least one notched belt on a fabric of filtering medium of the belt (1), along its longitudinal axis. The notched belt is of a plastics material, molded to the belt filtering medium. The filtering medium is placed to match the position of the neutral fiber of the belt and is part of its reinforcement. The guide structure is a linear bar rail, of a plastics material molded to the filter medium of the filter belt (1), parallel to its longitudinal axis. The drive and guide structures form part of the belt drive and guide system, and they can be molded to the edges of the filter medium of the belt (1) |
