PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire gripping device capable of reliably gripping an electric wire, and of improving the workability on the job site with an excellent durability. SOLUTION: A V-shaped groove 2c is formed at the side of a main body 2, and a circular arc groove 3a is formed at the side of a hook 3 respectively. If an electric wire 50 is temporarily positioned in the gripping portion and the hook 3 is gradually closed, the conductor 50a is automatically guided to the bottom of groove of the V-shaped groove 2c along the circular arc 3a of the hook 3 in response to the closing of the hook 3 on the side of the main body 2 and finally is definitely gripped in a state of fitting to the V-shaped groove 2c. In this way, stable connections can be made without the occurrence of the looseness due to vibration of wire 50, device or the like after tightening. |
