PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which is very efficient in electrifying and capable of obtaining a high-quality image without an image fog and further, adopting a cleanerless system. SOLUTION: In the case a developer including toner and magnetic carriers is carried on the surface of a developer carrier having a magnet inside and delivered to a developing part 4C, to develop an electrostatic latent image on an image carrier facing a developer carrier, in the developing part 4C in which a developing magnetic field is formed, the image carrier 1C, whose surface resistance is 10<9> -10<14> Ω.cm is used and as the magnetic carriers, carriers of magnetic coat carriers which are constituted in such a manner that the surfaces of core grains having metallic oxide grains are coated with resin compositions are used. The carriers have characteristics as follows; a piece number average grain diameter is <=1-100 μm, a distribution cumulative value for <=1/2 grain diameter is <= several percent of 20 pieces, the resistivity of a core is >=1×10<10> Ω.cm, the resistivity of the carriers is >=10<12> Ω.cm, etc. |
