PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution by which a uniform toner thin layer having specified thickness is stably formed on a toner carrier over a long term and to provide a developing device preventing the leakage of toner with simple constitution. SOLUTION: A toner partition plate 72 for dividing toner is provided between a toner retaining chamber 62 in which the scraped toner is accumulated and a toner storing chamber in which the toner is stored, and is formed to be circular-arc shape adaptively to a toner stirring member. Thus, the constitution by which the uniform toner thin layer having the specified thickness is stably formed on the toner carrier over a long term is provided. The leakage of the toner from the developing device is prevented and cleaning work for the device is facilitated. Then, the developing device capable of realizing easy maintenance is made small in size and light in weight and inexpensive with the simple constitution. |
