PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to record and reproduce special reproducing data corresponding to plural kinds or a single kind of reproducing speed and to guarantee a synchronous reference signal interval at the time of reproduction by rewriting a tentative synchronous reference signal to a value that can be synchronized with a special reproducing speed. SOLUTION: Special reproducing data are generated only by a low band element in input data and are turned into a transport packet. At this time, a tentative synchronous reference signal is recorded in a synchronous reference signal insertion position of the transport packet. It is read out from a recording medium 7 by a recording and reproducing head 6, normal reproducing data and special reproducing data are selected into by a reproduction packet selection circuit 10 after a signal processing at a reproducing circuit 9, normal reproduction is performed and a signal processing is performed by special reproducing data processing circuits 11 and 12. Then, the tentative synchronous reference signal is rewritten to a synchronous reference signal by a PCR rewriting circuit 15. Hereby, the tentative synchronous reference signal exists in all the packets and the place is specified, so it is made unnecessary to detect the tentative synchronous reference signal and simplification of a circuit structure is made possible. |
