PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission peak factor suppression circuit by solving a problem in which a limiter threshold level is fixed and it does not cope with a level change in a code multiplex signal, suppressing a peak factor at an optimum limiter threshold level corresponding to a change in a level of the code multiplex signal with a simple method, without increasing a circuit scale for keeping stable transmission quality. SOLUTION: A limiter rate arithmetic section 4 measures a rate of time of an outputted signal at a given limiter threshold level resulting from the action of limiters 1a, 1b with respect to a code multiplex signal to be sent (limiter rate) and a limiter threshold level setting section 5 changes the limiter threshold level, so that the measured limiter rate becomes closer to a predetermined specified limiter rate and gives the changed limiter threshold level to the limiters 1a, 1b in the transmission peak factor suppression circuit. |
