PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To serve newest area information to the user in real time by updating area information changing every moment. SOLUTION: Information servers 4A-4L send area information (shop guide, service guide and congestion status or the like) at any time. Base stations 3A-3C transfer received area information to an information server 1. The information server 1 stores the received area information as a database and updates the information at any time. A PHS terminal user 5 operates the terminal to select the area information service and sends an area information extract request to the base station 3B that manages its area. Upon receipt of the area information extract request, the base station 3B extracts the area information from the information server 1 and the delivers the information to the PHS terminal user 5. |
