PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting electronic parts by which electronic parts can be mounted more efficiently, by eliminating the interruption of electronic parts mounting work caused by the exchange of tray feeders by using multiple transfer heads. SOLUTION: A head section 20 is composed of a transfer head 21a having a large-sized nozzle 22a and transfer heads 21b and 21c having small-sized nozzles 22b and 22c. When the head section 20 is moved horizontally, the large- sized electronic parts 30a fed by means of a tray feeder 5 are mounted on a substrate 3 by means of the large-sized nozzle 22a, and the small-sized electronic parts 30b and 30c fed by means of a tube feeder 6 or tape feeder 7 are mounted on the substrate 3 by means of the small-sized nozzles 22b and 22c. When all of the electronic parts 30a fed by means of the tray feeder 5 are mounted on the substrate 3, the tray feeder 5 is exchanged to another tray feeder 5 with a magazine, but, during the exchange, the electronic parts 30b and 30c fed by means of the tube feeder 6 or tape feeder 7 are mounted on the substrate 3 by means of the heads 22b and 22c. |
