PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for dispensing liquids whereby a lot of liquid can be dispensed by a smaller count of chip racks than in the prior art by reducing a space for storing dispense chips. SOLUTION: A relative position of a dispense chip 2 and a pipetter 1 is judged by a sensor. The pipetter 1 is moved in accordance with the position, so that the dispense chip 2 to be used is set to the pipetter 1. A liquid is collected from a liquid container 5 with the use of the dispense chip 2 and moved to a dispense container 6. |
