PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use fiber reinforced ceramics in a nose cone or a radome by constituting the nose cone of the fiber reinforced ceramics where the fiber of SiC is oriented in the base material of the SiC. SOLUTION: The tip of an airframe is made as a radome and a radar is provided in the radome for tracking a target. In this case, the radome is constituted by fiber reinforced ceramics where the fiber of SiC is oriented in the base material of the SiC. SiC powder is mixed to organic polymer such as polysilazane, polycarbosilane, and polysilastyrene for dissolving in a solvent to perform forming burning. As a result the fiber reinforced ceramics in which the gap of fiber is filled with a matrix is burned. Since the fiber of the SiC and the matrix of the SiC are amorphous, they hardly have conductivity, and its electronic wave transmission property is superior. |
