PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which can minimize the possibility to repetitively cause the faults by evading the use of an image forming device having an operating trend to easily cause a fault and using an image forming device that has the highest possibility to complete its processing. SOLUTION: When the image forming devices 103 to 106 which accepted the print requests detect the occurrence of faults that prevent execution of the print requests, an image forming device having the lowest occurrence rate of the fault that prevents execution of the print request is automatically selected as an alternate image forming device among other image forming devices connected to a network, based on their past operating history information. Thus, the printing request is transferred to the alternate image forming device to carry on the printing. |
