PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of picture data which can be offered to a terminal side, and to provide data at low costs in a system for retrieving picture data at the terminal side. SOLUTION: This system is constituted of a control center 2 and plural terminal equipment 4, wherein the picture data base of the control center 2 is retrieved according to a retrieval request from the terminal equipment 4, and the desired picture data can be read at the terminal equipment 4 side. Supply type terminal equipment for supplying picture data to the terminal equipment 4 is used for supplying the picture data from the supply type terminal equipment to the other terminal equipment. Also, fee for the offer of the picture data is subtracted from the charged value of the use of this system in the supply type terminal equipment which offers the picture data. As a result, the number of subscribers who use the supply type terminal equipment can be increased, and the kind of the picture data which can be offered by this system can be increased. Thus, picture data can be offered to the terminal equipment at low costs. |
