<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designating traffic channels at a setup time when traffic in common frequencies increases so as to considerably reduce the danger of causing an overload to a specific frequency band. This is realized by keeping pluralities of the common frequencies, distributing the traffic in an overload frequency band to other frequencies band and preventing the traffic concentration to the common frequencies. SOLUTION: The method consists of the first step where the assignment state of frequencies of all adjacent cells is checked and pluralities of common frequencies are set to each cell, the second step where traffic in the common frequencies is managed, the third step where a hand-off request message is received, the fourth step where a common frequency with a least load is selected, the fifth step where a hard hand-off is executed between frequencies in a cell to the selected common frequency and the last step where soft hand-off to a destination cell is conducted by using the common frequency with the least load.</p> |
