A liquid distributor, for a distillation column, has conduits (10) for liquid passage by gravity from main chamber bottom openings to non-aligned delivery points (12). An Independent claim is also included for a distillation column equipped with the above liquid distributor. Preferred Features: Each opening (3) consists of a single or several adjacent perforations. Each conduit (10) comprises a straight or bent tube which has a spout-like or tubular inlet (11) located directly below an opening (3) and which may have an outlet end sprinkler of larger cross-sectional area than the opening. The ratio of the average diameter of the area (2) containing the openings (3) to the average diameter of the area containing the tube outlets (12) is 1:6. The openings (3) are arranged in concentric circles in a first horizontal plane, each circle corresponding to a circle of tube outlets (12) arranged in a second horizontal plane below the first. The coupled opening and outlet points are angularly offset by 80 - 100 deg or 100 - 180 deg .
