PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail device capable of keeping a desired received mail for a long period of time and automatically returning the effect to a transmission side when a received mail box becomes full. SOLUTION: Among respective mails stored in a mail box, the mail for which prescribed time elapses from the point of time of reception and prescribed conditions are not satisfied is automatically erased from a mail storage means. Also, when the storage capacity of the mail box is full or a residual storage capacity is less than a prescribed value and the received mail does not satisfy the prescribed conditions, a routine mail for reporting reception impossibility is returned to a mail transmission origin. Thus, even without performing a special operation, the desired received mail is kept for the long period of time, and when the received mail box becomes full, that effect is automatically returned to the transmission side. |
