PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve response characteristic to the power generation control of an engine-driven generator. SOLUTION: A power generation controller for hybrid vehicle computes the rotational speed command value N* and first torque command value T* to an engine-driven generator 3 for generating required electric power, and the second torque command value T1* is computed for making the detected rotating speed value N of the generator 3 to be equal to the rotational speed command value N*. The controller controls the generator 3 so that the torque of the generator 3 may become equal to the second torque command value T1*, by limiting the second torque command value T1* based on the detected rotating speed value N, and controls the rotational speed command value N* and an engine 3 so that the second torque command value T1* may become equal to the first torque command value T*. Therefore, the responsiveness of the generator 3 is improved and no parameter is required for adjusting the response, because the actual generated power of the generator 3 does not cause overshooting nor undershooting at the time of changing the required generated power of the generator 3. |
