PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil and a transformer wherein an insulation characteristics between a core and a winding is improved without changing the in entire size. SOLUTION: A collar 3 is provided on both sides of a cylindrical core 6, the collar 3 is provided with a pin terminal implanted part 7 where a pin terminal 8 is implanted and a core insert groove 4, and a bobbin 1 where the core insert groove 4 is provided with a step 5 is wound. The step 5 is attached with a core cover 2 provided with a core insert recess part 22, a core 9 is incorporated, and the core 9 is insulated from a coil.
