PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the space utility by making its own station act as a relay station and routing an optical pulse series transferred from other station to a different other station as the optical signal without converting it into an electric signal. SOLUTION: Optical time division devices 140-142 divide a short pulse optical signal in time division multiplex transferred from other station into pluralities of optical pulse series. Those optical pulse series are matched in timing and given to an optical spatial switch 170. The optical spatial switch 170 switches routes and outputs them without conversion. Those optical pulse series going to the same station among pluralities of the outputted optical pulse series are time-adjusted and transferred in time division multiplex to the same station. |
