PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which such a superconducting coil that can be insulated at a low cost and has a thin insulating layer and a high average current density can be manufactured. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing superconducting coil includes a process (A) for scattering and fixing a heat-resistant insulating material on and to the surface of the precursor of a superconducting wire rod 1 through heat treatment, a process (B) for forming a coil by winding the precursor on which the heat-resistant insulating material is scattered and fixed around a heat-resistant bobbin 2, a process (C) for forming the superconducting wire rod 1 by heat-treating the precursor, and a process (D) for fixing the coil by filling up the gaps formed of the wire rod 1 constituting the coil with an insulating filler and curing the filler. |
