PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lighting system that can improve its producibility significantly, allows its radiated light direction to be adjusted at desired angles such as central, upward, downward and outward directions, and can illuminate an object without producing its shadow. SOLUTION: This lighting system is equipped with a light source 5, a light transmitting body 4 capable of transmitting the light from the light source 5 and a light guiding body 1 that can transmit the light from the light transmitting body 4 without producing a shadow. In this case, the light guiding body 1 is formed from a long transparent plastic body, a light diffusing layer is installed on one side surface of the long transparent plastic body, and the long transparent plastic body is bent in a ring-like shape. |
