PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a personal handy phone system employing a CATV network to be used for conventional mobile communication and to easily manage a location of wanders or the like at a low cost. SOLUTION: The personal handy phone system is built up by a master set 101 that manages exchange control and position information of a mobile set, base station equipment 106, 107 that apply relay control to communication among mobile sets 108, 109, 110 connecting to the master set 101 via a 2-way CATV network coaxial line 102, a master transmitter 111 and slave transmitters 113, 114 that divide signals subject to time division full duplex among the master set 101 and the base station equipment 106, 107 into incoming and outgoing signals and converts them so as to be sent on a 2-way CATV network. The master transmitter 111 is provided with an extract unit 200 that intercepts signals incoming to the master set 101 and extracts position information of the mobile set included in the incoming signals. Thus the extract unit 200 detects a location of a mobile set.
