PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase transfer efficiency at the time of data transfer by making it unnecessary to issue data transfer instructions by the number obtained by dividing the total number of transfer elements by the number of elements of sub-array data regardless of the number of elements of sub-array data at the time of performing access to the whole sub-array data in a second-dimensional array data. SOLUTION: When the number of elements of sub-array data is 1 or relatively small, but the total number of transfer elements is larger for this number, a transfer length replacing circuit 119 replaces the number of elements of the sub-array data with the total number of transfer elements, and an inter-element distance replacing circuit 118 replaces the inter-element distance in the sub-array with the distance between the sub-array. Thus, the elements of the plural sub- arrays can be gathered as one sub-array data, and data transfer can be operated so as to be degenerated. |
