PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity for copying by shortening the intervals of transfer papers, with respect to an image forming device capable of consecutively making copies. SOLUTION: A paper feeding clutch is turned on, the transfer papers 1 are carried up to a fed paper sensor 5. At the point when the first transfer paper 1 for which the preceding paper does not exist has been carried up to a resist roller 9, a grip roller 6 and a relaying roller 7 are stopped and the first transfer paper 1 is carried to an image forming part 10, with image writing timing, after the time T2 , In a state where the transfer papers 1 from the second one pass through the fed paper sensor 5 and reach the grip roller 6, after the time T3 , the grip roller 6 is stopped and redriven after the time T4 , then, the grip roller 6 and the relaying roller 7 are stopped over the time T2 again, to take the image write timing and then, the transfer papers 1 from the second one are carried to the image forming part 10. The stopping time T4 of the grip roller 6 is set to make the time obtained by adding the time T1 and the time T4 a fixed value. |
