<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send data with high real time performance by sending a congestion information packet from a packet adaptive means upon the detection of congestion of a 1st network, inserting the received congestion information packet to frame relay data by a frame relay adaptive conversion means receiving the congestion information packet and sending the resulting data to a 2nd network. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a BP cell from an ATM channel adaptor section 14, an ATM switch 13 outputs the BP cell to FR channel adaptor sections 11, 12 that are senders of ATM cells to the ATM channel adaptor section 14 by means of selection broadcast (multi-cast function). The FR channel adaptor sections 11, 12 that receive the BP cell from the ATM switch 13 detects the BP cell and sends congestion information of a form of FR data corresponding to the BP cell to routers 30, 40. Furthermore, the sections 11, 12 send the congestion information sent to the routers 30, 40 to a terminal that is the sender and the terminal conducts transmission control of FR data.</p> |
