PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle charging connector by which a phenomenon that an optical signal transmitted to a receiving side connector is returned as a noise can be avoided. SOLUTION: Respective light axes of a light emitting device 50A and a light receiving device 50B are surrounded by cylindrical walls 36 and 37. By the cylindrical wall 37 surrounding the light receiving device 50B, the invasion of unrelated light signals onto the light axis of the light receiving device 50B can be avoided. By the cylindrical wall 36 surrounding the light emitting device 50A on the power supply side, light signals emitted by the light emitting device 50A are converged and not directed to the light receiving device 50B on the same power supply side without fail. With this constitution, noises in the receiving signals on the power supply side can be eliminated. |
