PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register automatically information extracted from a received electronic mail text to a personal information database and to decide the propriety of transfer, a transfer destination, a transfer medium, and data contents to be transferred depending on contents of the mail main text. SOLUTION: A mail server 11 is provided with a text analysis means 13 that analyzes an electronic mail text and extracts schedule/ToDo information (information to be executed), a keyword and a summary, a means 15 that registers personal information obtained from the analysis result of the electronic mail text to a personal information database 19, and a rule management means 14 that manages a rule database 18 that designates presence of the schedule/ ToDo information and a topic by using the mail transfer rule as a start condition, and designates only the keyword and the summary extracted not only from the entire main text but also from the mail depending on a kind of a medium to be transferred as transfer contents, and a mail transfer means 12 uses the means above to conduct mail transfer control. |
