PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial pattern generating device capable of generating a long serial pattern in a small capacity memory range at a low cost. SOLUTION: A main system address control device 1 supplies each signal to a second address control device 3, and the second address control device 3 generates a serial pattern address control memory address signal SCARD2 based on the signal. A serial pattern address control memory 11 supplies a first to third control signals CNT1, CNT2, CNT3 to the second address control device 3, and a serial pattern address control memory 12 outputs a serial pattern generation short address signal SADR1. An adder gate 13 outputs a serial pattern generation address signal ADR1 to a serial pattern memory circuit 5 based on the address signal SADR1 and data BADR1 from a data holding circuit 14. |
